Kim McGwier
Since 2005, Kim M. McGwier has exclusively dedicated her legal career to the advocacy of children and families. She practices law from the core belief that amicable resolutions lead to emotionally and financially beneficial solutions.
A former Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator and Certified Collaborative Law practitioner, Ms. McGwier sustains a high success rate of resolving her cases in mediation or negotiations saving families thousands of dollars in legal costs.
A combative approach in family law usually results in expensive legal battles. Despite this fact, Ms. McGwier understands that some cases require aggressive tactics because of a person’s unreasonable demands, irrational behavior and/or untrustworthy character. Therefore, she represents each client with the distinction each case deserves.
Ms. McGwier deeply empathizes with the uncertainty, chaos and stress commonly associated with family law matters, and her clients can always depend on distinctive, passionate and thorough representation.
Ms. McGwier graduated at the top of her class as a summa cum laude graduate from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Florida Coastal School of Law located in Jacksonville, Florida. Ms. McGwier’s most astute accomplishment is raising her own four children while diligently working toward her educational goals. Her passions are her children, grandchildren, travel, exercise, music, writing and psychology. She is well-read on relationship dynamics and applies this knowledge in her practice of family law daily.
